    I know we all want Bateman Mall to have a lush green lawn, but right now there's a drought. When I walked past last night, the sprinklers were going full blast. Maybe I'm overreacting, but it just seems like a waste of water to me.

    It looks like a truck ran into the signal pole on the southeast corner of College and Ashby. In fact, the signage and signal lights have been damaged by trucks on all four corners, so a long-term solution is needed.

    There is a constant litter problem on the streets around the Alta Bates Hospital, especially on Webster st. Perhaps the city of Berkeley could ask the Hospital to help keep the neighborhood clean?
