The red light here has recently (past couple weeks maybe?) been on the wrong cycle -- as if there was a pedestrian walk signal on this light, which there's not. Both sides of light have been going red and waiting for ~10 secs extra.
10 seconds extra.
This hardly qualifies as a quality of life issue.
Actually, it appears to look like a very long reach in an effort to create an issue.
Why is this such a pressing issue ?
it is strange why this started happening recently. it is indeed long enough for a walk signal, but there are no walk signs to be lit, so it is weird that a technician would change the cycle like that.

Seems legit to me. It caused a pretty long backup yesterday.
Have you looked around SCF lately? So many "I just saw a car run a stop sign!!!!!!! GO ARREST HIM!" posts that can't be addressed at all.
This is a broken timer. It can be fixed. Let's get it fixed.
