I live on Georgia St. retired and the speeding goes on all day, and is worse evenings, my dog was killed and my BMW was wrecked, there is no police to stop them, we need help I love to walk but afraid because of the fast drivers, at night I cry sometime because someones child is going to die on Georgia St. a women was hit Feb 24, at least they stopped but poured beer out the other side of the truck before the police could come, and we told on them, please help us with this matter, if i could get some lic # I would but they are driving to fast for me to see the lic plate. If you notice kids don't play on Georgia St. Because they may get killed, I will be visiting your office soon to talk and see if there will be a change, because I am thing of leaving Vallejo not safe anymore. I agree. There has been excessive speeding on Georgia Street lately. We have had two wrecks in the last few months. It is not safe to pull out or cross the street. The city should consider installing another traffic light between Solano and 14th.

Well it's friday night lots of excessive speeding, my window faces the street can't get to sleep from listing to the tires beating the concert, I am retired and would like to sleep and take care of my self, and wondering if there going to hit my one and only vehicle it's not like i work and do overtime and replace the truck. the speeding is disturbing the peace and it will go on all weekend, my sister had to retrieve something from her trunk she was afraid they would hit my truck and she would be crushed between the cars that is terrible and distressing, please help make our streets safe I don't think thats to much to ask as tax payers we deserve to be protected, this is really stressing me out please help. Traffic Engineering will conduct a traffic warrant study for a new traffic signal on Georgia between Solano and 14th Street. We will contact you with the results once that study is completed.

If a traffic signal is warranted, it will be placed on a list of all projects in the city and will move forward as funding becomes available. If a signal is not warranted, we will investigate other engineering options to mitigate operational issues along Georgia and side street accessibility.

Please note that a traffic study will take several weeks. If you have any questions in the meantime please call the Traffic Engineer at 707-648-4300.
