Deskripsyon

On Columbus Parkway heading toward Highway 37 and all the way Fairgrounds Dr/Discovery Kingdom exit, all the streetlights are out on both sides of the freeway. Also, exiting from Westbound 80 on Columbus Parkway, the underpass tunnel lights are out and the onramps to Sacramento and San Francisco are out as well.

I drove from Columbus Parkway onto Hwy 37 and directly to Fairgrounds Dr as described, and almost all the streetlights in this area are out. It is dreadfully dark. I have read and posted a streetlight on my street that is out (still not repaired). Why are there so many streetlights out? Are these not monitored? Isn't this a safety concern for our streets, neighborhoods, and freeways?

Thank you for reporting! A work order has been generated so a Traffic maintenance worker can go out and inspect the light(s) in question. Please be advised that street light repairs may take up to 14 working days.

Thanks for reporting! This issue is not under the jurisdiction of Vallejo Public Works, and should be addressed by Caltrans. We have forwarded your issue to them. You can follow up with them by calling 916-654-2852. In the future, you can submit a Maintenance Service Request to Caltrans district 4 on their website at http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist4/d4address.htm.
