I agree! They're off the freeways, but now they're on the bridges.

They cut that fence back open on Saturday as soon as CalTrans & NCPD left. SMH

Pressure must be maintained and area secure to keep transients from returning.

I spoke to soon. I just drove by 16th street bridge. They are returning. There's already some encampments.

NCPD's Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) is aware of the issues surrounding this area. However, any illegal lodging on state property must be enforced by CHP or Caltrans. We are currently working with both agencies to find a solution. Additionally, HOT is working with multiple homeless subjects in the area, in attempt to provide them with shelter.
