Description

An unfinished construction project is obstructing the sidewalk at this location on the running path for the nearby Crossfit gym , forcing runners onto the heavily trafficked street and posing a danger, especially after dark.

The address says this inquiry is for Arlington, but the map says Ashland. This came to Richmond VDOT. Please specify the correct location on the map so the appropriate office receives the request. Thank you.

Thank you for responding, VDOT! I posted this via the Washington Post's "Daily Gripe" site, and filled out the information correctly (the location of the problem is in Arlington -- Shirlington to be precise). I do not understand how it came up as being in Ashland, and don't know how to fix it in their system. The unfinished project obstructing the sidealk is at the 4000 block of Four Mile Run Drive, south side of the street. Any help you can provide in channeling this request to the proper authorities would be most appreciated.

This is a "before" photo" and since then, the project has been partially cleaned up (thank you!) such that it does not obstruct the running path as much, but it would be great to see it actually completed so the sidewalk would be clear. Thanks!
