Trash of all sorts all over the front yard and driveway including a large pile on the curb lawn (city property) that's spilling into the street (see photo taken this morning). Garbage toters on the driveway but apparently not used.

there is a duplex on westnedge and it sits across the street from Cliffwood. The person that lives there has so much junk in the North Side and back yard out in the open it is unsightly and its growing

All kinds of clutter/litter/tents outside and in the back yard. Eye sore for the city park entrance

They have homeless people living in tents and cars and an RV parked in the drive. They have free range chickens wondering around.

There is seemingly a homeless woman residing at the old Clark gas station on S. Westnedge and Schuring Rd. There are a heap of items at this closed gas station and a woman sleeps beside it.

Can she receive some assistance?

The city needs to do more than put up a sign to deal with the traffic mess caused by Panda Express. It is creating a hazard for drivers on Westnedge.

Closed gas station at intersection of S Westnedge and Schuring..this has been reported before and received response back from the city stating no violation. The grass and weeds are over two feet high and the property is a mess. Can the city explain how this is not an ordinance violation?

There is quite a bit of sand on the side of the road at the end of the bike path. This is a huge hazard to cyclists, especially at a junction where they have to make a fairly tight turn. Someone could easily be looking for traffic or pedestrians, miss seeing the sand, and lose traction and fall

Somebody made a submission about a potentially dangerous cyclist and Public Safety requested more information and later stated that no response was given to their request.

Unfortunately, most (if not all) submissions state: "Public commenting and status changes are not available for this request."

This either needs to be changed or city departments need to be made aware that the public is unable to respond with additional details to make investigating submissions less labor intensive.

P.S. I know nothing about the cyclist issue, I stumbled on the report and found the situation "humorous".

This city easement has arborvitae planted. The City approved of the planting of this vegetation with the previous owners of the property (3611 Woodhams).
Matt Hybel (3623 Woodhams) took a chainsaw and chopped a large branch down.
When asked why he did it, he responded, "because I wanted to."
At no time did he talk to me or my husband (Anne & Dan Bitzer) about the branch. He just took it upon himself to chop it down. The arborvitae were planted by the previous owner, but the easement is city property.
We are on the third year of construction at 3623 Woodhams (Hybel). The blight along with the outhouse, where construction workers, the Hybels, and random people walking by poop and pee, has become a lot to endure.
Now the added situation of cutting down branches without discussing it with us and the fact that they are on city property has prompted this complaint. We hope to be able to stop the further cutting of the arborvitae located in the city easement between 3611 and 3623 Woodhams.

This sign offensive for the following reasons: This sign was placed there to make a political statement and it is divisive. We have no issues in this city regarding hate crimes. Additionally, it forces citizens to be informants against other people in the community. Who decides what actions or what rhetoric is "hateful"? What happened to our First Amendment rights? If a person makes a statement that is contrary to another's political beliefs and therefore "offensive" does that make it hateful rhetoric? Lastly, the placement of this sign is horrible. It blocks one of the most beautiful and popular plantings in the Library Lane Park. Portage spends much time and dollars making our community look nice and someone decided to put an offensive and divisive sign in front of the "Canoe" bed. This is not Portage!
