So about two weeks ago another sinkhole opened up on Gorham Street beside the previously "repaired" hole and steel plates were put over it. Yesterday when I drove through Gorham Street a new sinkhole had opened up, closer to the Spaghettiville bridge. As of this morning this new hole was now covered by a steel plate.
Clearly there is an issue in this section of Gorham Street, and covering the sinkholes with steel plates or adding new concrete is not solving the issue. This is a dangerous area for all drivers as you never know when the road is just going to cave in. When does the city plan on truly repairing this section of the road so it is safe to travel on again? With rain in the forecast the next few days, this road is only going to get worse.
