    At least once a week, drivers turning right on red from Central to 8th on the Washington Park side nearly miss hitting pedestrians when the pedestrians have a walk sign to cross Central. Additionally, drivers aggressively approach other cars, go into the crosswalk, and verbally attack pedestrians and other drivers because they want to turn right on red.

    Drivers regularly turn onto Court St. from Otis Drive to bypass Otis Drive traffic. By doing so, they race down Court st. and sometimes run the stop sign to turn onto Bayview Drive. This is dangerous for kids playing outside, and also for people trying to back out of their driveways.

    I drove from Alameda High School down Encinal to Grand St where I got in the left turn lane. 1) there is no street sign for Grand street visible at all. 2) I waited 3 signal cycles and did not get a left turn green arrow. I moved up further in the left turn lane but that still did not trigger the left turn signal. I gave up and went straight on Encinal. This was today, Saturday, just after noon. (around 12:10pm).

    A senior walking her bike across Buena Vista along west crosswalk tripped on the large hole in the pavement. She hit her knee but was helped up by her companion. Incident about 11am Saturday 7May2024.
    Also during the recovery time a car going east along Buena Vista at speed yelled at us (I was also alongside my bicycle) while making a left turn onto Wilma Chan Way. Since there is a camera on Buena Vista Ave perhaps you can identify the car and send a reminder note that pedestrians in a crosswalk are not there as targets for automobiles.

    The road was sinking here and the city came to “fix” by putting an asphalt patch over the sinking road. The made things worse. It’s created a big unmarked hump. When cars and trucks speed over this unmarked hump it causes violent shaking like an earthquake to homes surrounding it. It’s caused additional cracks to the side walk and street. Also when cars speed by the crumpling asphalt patch has loosened rocks which fly up hittting cars that are parked there and on one occasion a passing bike rider. Please fix the street correctly. Thanks so much. Or have police here to ticket those who speed over it.

    I fell walking here yesterday when the vine got tangled around my ankle and I sprained my wrist. There is not room for one person to walk through here and I have seen people with strollers , dogs etc have to go in the street to pass.
