This has been mentioned before and it is getting worse.
As traffic travel south on hwy 40 the intersection at 68ave is the last one before open road. There are no warning light to indicate a signal change.
I agree that drivers need to drive to the conditions but yet again a very large semi with flatbed loaded blew the red light. If someone has been travelling east on 68ave and already been in motion it could have easily been a fatality.
The understand this is a provincial highway, but the city needs to out pressure on the government to fix this very dangerous intersection.
With the road conditions the way they are right now more large truck are taking the change and running the light instead of braking.
BTW, thanks for the work on the roads, you have a thankless task these days.
