Description

Turn restrictions on northbound lanes on Orange are poorly marked. The right lane, which is right-turn-only, is aligned with the single northbound lane on the north side of the intersection and thus feels like the appropriate lane for through traffic. The left lane, which is for both through traffic and left turns, is aligned with the left-turn lane of oncoming traffic and thus feels inappropriate for through traffic. Drivers often incorrectly go straight from the right lane, endangering drivers going straight from the left lane. This confusing intersection should be marked with dotted lane lines through the intersection, and with overhead signs.
