Description

Homeless tents and encampments building up in Lake Merritt once again near Children's Fairyland. Also, tents started to build up in front of Veteran's Building on Grand Avenue.

Please note since 2020 it is now illegal to place tents in public parks as well as businesses.

The area along Grand Avenue as well as Lake Merritt is a huge public gathering place and with all of the tents this hurts the image of Oakland and will affect businesses.
