The winter parking regulations are in effect from 1am to 7am, or One hour after a snow event has started to Two hours after a snow event has finished. That being said that Public Works department is in communication with Enforcement regarding vehicles that are in violation of the winter parking regulations and procedure is followed to address these violations which may involve a warning or a ticket. Should it be deemed necessary the vehicle may also be towed.
Any time a complaint is received an investigation is completed, and at this time we have not observed the vehicle parked on the street between the hours of 1am and 7am. While we are monitoring the roads, we can not be everywhere at the the same time. If you see the vehicle parked there between 1am and 7am you can take a picture of the vehicle, including the license plate for evidence and sent it to enforcement@townofyarmouth.ca.
If you have any further concerns you may contact me by phone at 902-740-5968 or by email at enforcement@townofyarmouth.ca, or come into the Office at Town Hall 3rd floor.
