Description
Hello:
I'm a user of bike paths here in the city. The installation at Wake Forest and Sasser is dangerous to users. At that point, the bike trail along Wake Forest makes a jog. The bike lane is protected by a punctuated curb. The northernmost tile of the curb (purple in the attached image) is a hazard to cyclists. I assume it's there to protect the bike lane from cars turning right onto Sasser from Wake Forest. If the bike path did not make a jog there, it would be OK, but as it is, it is easy for a cyclist to misjudge the turn and hit the curb. This is particularly true in low-light conditions because the reflective markings on the curb are not very prominent. Please consider relocating the northernmost tile so that it is in line with the others (blue), or replacing it with markings.
Thanks for your consideration.
