What makes this more ridiculous is that there was already lights and electricity on the old monument.

Solar lighting was suggested as an alternative to tearing up street to reestablish power. City rejected.

As the author of this post, I am asked if this issue has been closed. 1) I am not often out after dark, but I presume that it has not been closed. 2) I have asked neighbors if they have been out and know the answer, all presuming that it has not been closed. 3) Perhaps someone should ask the department responsible (James Olson-LMD) if they have found the switch yet.

As of earlier this week, no the lights are still not working.
