City doesn’t care. Instead of helping they point the finger at someone else. I have been told previously this is on Cal Trans. Last time I reported it they said it is under the jurisdiction the Greater Vallejo Recreation District (GVRD), a government agency separate from the City of Vallejo and that WE need to contact them directly. This is not my job. It’s sad to me that there is an elementary school right next door. It’s sad to see people pulling into the elementary school and parking only to walk into the armoire entrance of the bushes to probably buy drugs. I’d take a picture but the large scary dog that one of them has prevents strangers from coming close. At night I see the glows of their cell phones in the trees. It’s really sad but yet those who can do something about it just turn their backs because they don’t live here. Shame on them. It may not be the City’s issue but you could help us better in assisting getting it cleaned up. It takes a village to get rid of the tree village apparently. If only they had cut all the damn trees and not half way to begin with. No coordination or planning whatsoever.

I recently reported on the encampment and dumping taking place at the corner of Sonoma Blvd. and Sandy Beach.

I also wanted to say thank you for removing the trees that were on the hill in the middle of Sonoma Blvd. That has helped. Please also let us as residents know what we can do to help. Thanks

If you don’t have jurisdiction what business do you have to close the request? None.
Reassign the request to the government entity that has the authority to coordinate with GVRD. This looks like an opportunity for the New Homeless manager to coordinate with GVRD and Public Works!
