This person continues to disrupt the ambient levels of our neighborhood by his many hours (5-6 hr a day) of manufacturing- his 'side' hustle, drilling and sawing metals and pounding. What ever he's manufacturing it's at a assembly line method level, making many numerous pieces. This is not acceptable for our quiet neighborhood, they need to rent a warehouse for this work -here is the past complaint

This person is back disrupting the neighborhood For 3 days now we have endured hours of sawing, high pitched drilling, manufacturing level noise.. It sounds like a manufacturing business that needs to move to a warehouse situation. Please re view this case & stop the noise!

I would like to know why, after paying taxes in PP for 35 yrs, I cannot enjoy my home because I have to listen to a machine manufacturing shop in the back yard of this address. I have endured this high pitched screeching, all day 'dentist drill' manufacturing and complained for FOUR YEARS and nothing is ever done. These are the things that I cannot do in my house anymore: open my windows, talk on the phone, listen to TV, enjoy a good book, sit outside, entertain company. I've tried every avenue for 4 yrs. to alert PP code & quell this all day metal manufacturing noise. I just hope he's not assembling firearms. NOT HAPPY! I am so fed up with inaction that I may have to do what the PP officer suggested, waste the resources of PP & call the PP Police as a noise complaint. Please do something!

It's been really quiet for 3 weeks now & it's again a pleasure to live in Pembroke Pines. I thank all involved so much, this was a very difficult issue. I'm optimistic that he will stay quiet & stop the all day high pitched manufacturing noises so that we can live in peace.

THE VERY DAY AFTER I CLOSED THIS ISSUE (after 61 days of quiet)he's got the machines back up and running again.. Nothing has changed...I'm again enduring long periods of LOUD screeching, sawing & planeing machines. It's relentless and disturbing.. put yourself in my place just for a moment, after hours of noise in the day, every night I go to bed with the anxiety of wondering how many hours of screeching I am I going too have to endure the next day. It's no way to have to live.

It is very disappointing that this person is tormenting their neighbors again, but it is good to see that Mayor Ortis takes the time to use this tool and to help with along with city staff. I hope that this will end once and for all.

This guy "works" every day now. I'm convinced he is "working out of his home/running a business out of his back yard" at our expense. (4 yrs of sawing, drilling, screeching high pitched dentist drill, 6-8 hours a day 5-6 days a week.) We have to put up with the CONSTANT noise. What's it going to take?

This situation has improved, thank you. This 'worker' still works occasionally, but at a level that is acceptable for a residential area (home project or hobby). But, I would like to keep this open in case the situation escalates, as it has in the past.

Owner poured a large concrete slab that covers the entire rear and side yard with no respect for the easement to the zero lots line which should be 7 ft from the property to the east - the slab only allows for about 18" of clearance. In addition the owner of this property installed an above ground pool, and generator system along with an electric car charging station, as well as converted the garage to a living space. The entirety of these changes encompass both code violations and lack of permits. The concrete slab has created a drainage problem that could affect the foundation of the home to the east. The pool is too close to the home to east as well. It appears the owner has left the property and has been attempting to sell it. Hopefully this situation can be rectified so the owners of the home to the east do not suffer the consequences of a drainage problem if a storm were to hit the area.
