    House is covered in overgrown weeds, plants, etc. The property hasn't been maintained and the weeds plants are spilling into the public sidewalk and narrowing it for pedestrians. This photo is old (just used to show which house) and the situation is much worse now. Car with a smashed window in the driveway.

    Location: Northwest corner of Zinn Dr and Asilomar Dr. The property is bounded to the east by 6409 Zinn Dr, 6417 Zinn Dr, and 6425 Zinn Dr; bounded to the west by 2047 Asilomar Dr, and 2057 Asilomar Dr; bounded to the north by 2034 Asilomar Dr. The Alameda County Assessor's parcel map indicates that this "triangle" of land is not part of any parcel, and there are no boundaries between this triangle of land and the roadway.

    The attached photographs, which are representative but not comprehensive, show clear instances of fire ladders, low-level dead branches, general dense growth, and plants that have grown "feral" (that's the word the fire department used when they asked a homeowner to do additional mitigation to thin bushes and plants).

    Many years ago, Nairobi Place included a pedestrian walkway that allowed people from the other side of Chimes Creek to access public transportation on Hillmont Drive. The walkway was abandoned decades ago. The remaining lot is completely overgrown with many dead and dying trees. There is high brush and plant debris everywhere. Recently, a large branch broke and collapsed onto my fence at 6251 Hillmont Drive. The OFD Is quick to issue citations to property owners for high grass, but the city has allowed the very dangerous fire hazard to fester untended for at least 25 years. Please help!

    Please conduct annual weed abatement on the berm outside the Caldecott Tunnel and down Caldecott Lane at the curb. Weeds are thick and tall. They are a fire hazard. Folks coming out of the tunnel can easily throw a lit cigarette on the berm and start a fire.
